Albion Engineering is one of the leading Fabrication companies in Papua New Guinea which has been enjoying the services of NATA qualified professionals in the organization for quality assurance. Our weld procedure, welders qualification, inspection documentation and samples are certified by ETRS, SGS and AIMTEK in Australia for quality control. Many pre-qualification certifications of our welders as witnessed on site by CSWIP II and senior welding inspectors.

The inspection reports cover the following; Visual, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic (thickness and flaw), Radiographic Testing and not to mention hydrostatic-test, sand blasting and paint coating. All our QA/QC test results and reports strictly conform to Australia and New Zealand Standards.

Albion is working towards in setting up Apprentice Training Centre in order to train our apprentice to tradesmen level. It is envisioned that Albion will cater for other construction companies and industries in PNG by supplying its manpower and equipment as labour hire in the future. We do all sandblasting and surface treatment. Our indoor paint shop is equipped with all necessary painting equipment and facilities. All painting is carried out to client’s specifications. We have a strong workforce of over ten sandblasters and painters.

Safety is part of our livelihood therefore we strongly emphasis its importance and enforce it at all levels in our workplace. It is pre-requistic and mandatory that all employees MUST fully understood all aspects of safety at the work place prior to undertaking any given tasks. Our safety officer ensures safety rules and regulations with respect to our Job Safety Analysis (JSA) is observed and practiced at all times on and off sites.

Our main office and workshops is located at Malahang Industrial Centre in Lae and one branch at Konedobu in Port Moresby are equipped with technical professionals and a complete range of metal fabrication works power tools, sandblasting and welding equipment. Bulk of our manpower are; boiler-makers, welders, fitter-machinist, crane operators, carpenters and bricklayers, mechanics and auto electricians, sandblasters and painters and general casuals. Our respective workshop supervisors constantly checks and guide all jobs given.

Our Team of Mechanics and auto-electricians service and maintain the company’s equipment and vehicle fleet. We lease out our mobile welding equipment and other machines such as fork-lifts, cranes and trucks on hire to other companies.
